On Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, Boston Symphony Orchestra Music Director Andris Nelsons led the orchestra in its final concert of the 2016 Tanglewood season, featuring the orchestra’s traditional season-closing performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. This was Nelsons's first time leading the BSO in Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” Symphony.

yikes, I expected much more from Andris and the orchestra on such a monumental piece.  This was not on par with other performances that were nuanced.
