It's very difficult to put in words how motivating this is for me as a med student who's lost lots of my initial drive because of my university's covid coping mechanisms. The complementary system was an especially hard lesson for me to understand considering the absurd amount of random letters and numbers I've had to memorize. As someone who gets quickly lost talking to immunologist, I appreciate your videos. The immune system is so complex to me that when I think I has grasped one concept, there is another figure out, like an onion with infinite payers. I am also very visual, so you have that aspect of learning covered, too. I am interested in reading your book, "Immune: A Journey into the Mysterious System That Keeps You Alive", too.
