Okuma - Obsidian Reel

Obsidian extremely lightweight carp reel. Equipped with
C-40X body and rotor, ultra-lightweight spool, screw-in
handle and aluminum spool shaft for ultra-lightweight.
Reduce wear and tear on fishing lines we designed a
one-piece bail and the other is a roller with a special
DLC coating. All use HPB to achieve long-term corrosion
resistance.

Love okuma reels. So much snobbery in the carp fishing world where people think daiwa and shimano are king. But in my experience the okuma reels I own are far superior for the price. Currently using the t rex but I'll definitely be getting a pair of these for longer range fishing. Awesome job okuma 👌👍

I have Shimano CI4+ Reels and Daiwa 23 Emblem 45 SCW. I recently purchased three Okuma Flite Surf Reels . These Reels are the exact same Reel as the Okuma Obsidian. Only difference is the color, same 8000 spool that comes with both reels. I will make it short, The Okuma Flite and Obsidian are all around better built Reels. Much smoother than Shimano CI4+, Impressive drag, Lite and when you hold them and fish with em, they just speak quality and feel more refined. I knew they were going to be very good reels, but wasn't expecting them to be this good. Under Load they are ultra smooth.The slow wrap shows just how good it is when you go for the distance. In this price range, there is nothing on the market that is better and better than some more expensive Reels .Well Done Okuma.

Price will be almost 200 EUR to much for okuma. In my opinion at this price I will buy Shimano CI4+
