I’m a children’s gymnastics teacher. When they do stuff like this it means they like you

I took my 3 year old nephew to the park recently and there were a group of 10ish year olds that showed up and they were swearing constantly. I sternly asked them to mind their language, they apologised and were really nice after that even apologising and then saying goodbye when they left. I just was terrified my nephew would take swear words back to his Dad and I would get the blame. Kids just need telling sometimes and it should be on adults to do so. The worst parents are those who go mental when an adult tells off their child for bad behaviour (of course unless they touch or threaten the child).
