Hyundai Motor to suspend South Korea production as coronavirus disrupts supply chain

Car manufacturing giant Hyundai will gradually suspend production at its South Korean factories. Unions said the coronavirus outbreak in China has disrupted supplies of vehicle parts. This makes Hyundai the first major global car maker to stop production outside of China due to the virus. Alex Capri, visiting senior fellow at NUS Business School, was in the studio to discuss the supply chain disruption and which other industries could be affected.

All car industry's moved out of Australia 2 years back i bet there licking wounds.sometimes cheaper not always a better investment.i am scared of buying any product from china unless its already here before i know you cannot catch this that way but just the thought of it worries sh** out of me .Oversupply of cars on the world market anyway.

Tbh i think the same designer designs all the hyundai cars, they all look the same

I always bought kia cars but now I know it actually a china car and not made in Korea parts I will no longer by kia and cant buy american I will have to do car search for using minimal to no china parts.
