Lucasfilm, San Francisco - Reception Area
A visit to the Star Wars Holy Land (May 2017). The security guy and Lucasfilm reception staff were really friendly and allowed me to photograph the interior.
We stayed at a cheap motel along Lombard Street which was only a few minutes walk away from here. A lifelong dream fulfilled.
LOCATED IN SAN FRANCISCO’S HISTORIC PRESIDIO NATIONAL PARK, THE LETTERMAN DIGITAL AND NEW MEDIA ARTS CENTER IS THE HEADQUARTERS OF LUCASFILM, AND HOUSES INDUSTRIAL LIGHT & MAGIC, ANIMATION, CONSUMER PRODUCTS, DIGITAL MEDIA, AND FRANCHISE MANAGEMENT.
A serene 23-acre campus, LDAC includes expansive public park space, with a collection of statues celebrating Bay Area legends of moviemaking. The iconic Yoda fountain, a landmark for fans and visitors, proudly marks the main entrance to the LDAC four-building complex.
