As students have returned to campus at Coastal Carolina University, recreation facilities have begun to reopen. University Recreation is following all state and federal guidelines in terms of spacing and the wearing of face coverings. The recreational offerings at CCU remain robust, with the goal to get students active, while keeping them safe in the process.

About the Coastal Comeback Countdown.

Coastal Carolina University is preparing for the return of students to campus for the fall semester.

We will release a video each day for 30 straight days, from Monday, July 20 to Tuesday, August 18. Through these videos, we hope to detail what life will be like on campus when faculty, staff and students return.

Guidance from authorities for dealing with COVID-19 is subject to change. Therefore, the information in these videos reflects the situation at the time the videos were produced. Shifting guidelines could cause an adjustment to requirements and procedures.

Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Coastal Carolina University offers baccalaureate degrees through 84 majors. Among CCU's graduate-level programs are 26 master's degrees, two educational specialist degrees, and two doctoral programs: the Ph.D. in marine science: coastal and marine systems science, and the Ph.D. in education. The most popular undergraduate majors are marine science, management, exercise and sport science, and communication. Coastal Carolina University boasts a growing array of internship, research and international opportunities for students, as well as numerous online programs through Coastal Online.
