Calculus 1 (Spring 2022) - Lecture 2 - Evaluating Limits Part 1

In this video we recall the formal definition of the limit of a function. Afterwards we introduce several fundamental theorems used to evaluate limits on well-behaved functions, such a polynomial and rational functions. Along the way we discuss general concepts that should be remembered when encountering new mathematical problems.

In the next live lecture we finish our discussion of limit theorems needed to evaluate the numerical value of common functions encountered in a Calculus 1 course.
