Explanation of what you see in the video:
If you haven't read the manga, Sing is talking at first, with a little girl that asks about the big picture of Ash in Eiji's gallery, then Eiji starts telling his thoughts on Ash's death. Then, he takes out some pictures of Ash and he starts remembering him and some things he used to say. In the end, even if he doesn't want to forget him, he says goodbye to him, because he never really did it before.

I already watched and read Banana Fish, and damn the pain of both the characters still haunts me. I imagine how Eiji survived living each day knowing Ash is already gone, how it is so hard for him to let his love go and accept it. I'm still sobbing like an idiot whenever I'm reading the last chapters of the Banana Fish when Eiji tries to hideaway all Ash's pictures so that he will stop feeling the pain of losing him. 😭😭 I love this AMV and the choice of music!
