AWESOME DEMO mate 🇦🇺 So funny when I say and heard the name Enrique, I was thinking "but that's Ricky" (I'm biased as a Richard ;) Was just hunting for my next small full-key keyboard and came across the Launchkey - was thinking of the 37, but didn't realise there is a 25, which could be better as I want something I can use just with Ableton as even though I have a Push2, which is great for controlling, sometimes, as a keyboardist I just want some keys. The pads and Ableton integration are bonuses for me, so GREAT PRODUCT 😀

Sold my regular midi controller + launchpad for this and its super worth. Its so easy to create beats and nice chord progressions super quickly. Shaved off hours off production for real.

Hey just bought it, great features and built but is there going to be any software update to make some options (recording, quantise) available also in arrangement view? Right now those are only working in session view. And it’s kinda hard to work that way. Especially for musicians like myself using mostly the arrangement view for producing.

If you are a person who just bought this product, this video is definitely not for you. This guy knows what he's doing, no question, but he just moves along to fast, if you just started using a LaunchKey MK3. I am using mine with StudioOne, which is sort of a mistake in the first place, because it's actually geared more towards ALive. I'm a guitarist, so I am fairly new to midi keyboards, so I probably need a less advanced video. Thanks do a great job for some, Im sure.

I just opened up (I couldn't wait for Christmas day) LK49 MK3 and this has a hellish learning curve to it. Ableton 10 connection went smoothly but I see so many lights and I press a button and it doesn't do what I thought it would etc... I came here as I am trying to find which button will change my view mode in Ableton because I don't want to use my PC keyboard, or mouse, as little as I can get away with.

Is there the possibility of a step-sequencer in a firmware update (for ableton drum rack) or will that be exclusive to the SL MKiii?

Can the Launchkey MKIII series be used as a midi interface?
I.E. the computer sends midi out to the Launchkey via USB, and hardware is receiving midi via the MIDI DIN?

Computer —> Launchkey 37 —> Hardware Synth AND
Computer —> Launchkey 37 —> Hardware drum machine (receiving clock via midi)

I have the launchpad mk 3. How would this integrate? I don’t use a keyboard that often anymore, mostly use my mouse. I used to use my keyboards all the time but fell out of the habit since I’m a terrible keyboard player and only learned to hunt and peck play.I do have an old 25 key M- Audio Axiom which I rarely use( way too much of a pain to program also). I like my launchpad and still learning how to use it.

Looks awesome! One question: If you record external instruments via ableton and start and stop the recording on the launchkey, will it loop properly in 4 bars, 8 bars etc like it does for midi? Would be important for live looping
