The 115th Congress will be sworn in today, with the Republicans controlling both the House and the Senate. When President-elect Donald Trump takes office, it'll be the first time in a decade the GOP is in charge of both houses of Congress and the White House. In a surprise move, House Republicans made ethics oversight their first piece of business. Nancy Cordes reports.

Just remember, no matter how bad it gets, you asked for this...

Nothing this big should be voted behind closed doors. Everything should be done in the open, EVERYTHING!

One of the toughest things in sales is to convince someone else's client to work with you. You can show the potential client clear black and white irrefutable facts, and often as not, they won't change. For them, it's like getting a divorce -- it's an admission they made a mistake. Right now, many of those 62 million Americans who voted for Trump are in a  tough place. They're surrounded by objective evidence that Trump tricked them, but they have to get past the point of denial (if they can) and take a long, hard look at reality. Well, that reality is here as the GOP races to take their health insurance; destroy the hope of a living wage and promotes corruption. Unfortunately, the rest of us will be hurt too.

Special thanks to Ryan and those principled Republicans. Hope those Trumpsters remember who they voted for when their party totally screws them over...

Well, how else would Tillerson pay off top republicans after he's confirmed if an independent watchdog group investigate Exxon's dealings with Russia after the sanctions are removed? -Make America Great Again.

Congress shouldn't police themselves. We need this ethics committee back. They should be able to investigate any member of Congress.

Yes, get rid of Obama CARE. It is a disaster. INSURANCE is NOT health care, it is just outrageously expense Insurance with not benefits, unless you are an indigent and then its free, just like before.
