This was just a perfect opening to the film. It gives you a sense of how much of a threat Thanos and the Black Order are going to be. And Ebony Maw's speech at the beginning is great.

In the theater, I was expecting the happy, upbeat fandom to play. Little did I know that the film was going to start out intense... Chills.

I remember my theater cheering as soon as the logo started rolling. Everyone happy as they could ever be. But then.. the cheers grew silent.. everyone started to hear the distress call ... not a single sound was made then. Not one.. an audience silenced by fear.

I thought the audio was cut off when the MCU triumphant music didn't come on but then when the distress call came on I literally got chills. Such a perfect way to set the tone for the movie.

Bro the thing is this feels like a horror movie. Instead of hearing a hopeful and happy tune, you hear an ominous music playing in the background, while also hearing a recording, which actually really scared me, especially because I associate recording with ominous music to horror movies. That is why it's such an eerie opening

this is when we knew... this is not going to be an ordinary avengers movie. I was actually scared of what is going to happen in this one. I knew the all of the movies from the MCU had been leading up to this one. And the fact that when one of the most epic movie intros with an incredible music has been declined to use this dark tone with people pleading for help, made me seriously break into a cold sweat. I wasn't ready, that's when I knew. I WASNT READY. AND I WASN'T HAHAHAH. SERIOUSLY I AM ALSO NOT READY FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME.

I clearly remember the first ever time I heard the intro at the cinema, I felt like my life was in line watching this movie. I will never be as hyped as I was for Infinity War.
