How dissatisfied I am with this I cannot comprehend. The final episode is the same as the previous episodes of repeated play. Confusing and disappointing indeed after so much optimism of the first two episodes

The series was very cool. But it end so fast 3 episodes only 😒 . Try to make episodes 4 .

This show could have been a great homage to Wells and the novel but it was quite disappointing.

just finished watching part 3. do yourself a favour and dont waste your time watching this cr4p and just wash your eyes with bleach instead. its an embarrassment to the original and the top cruise remake. typical bbc have concentrated on the most boring part of it, the pointless love story. honestly bbc, why have you took an axe to the face of a total classic? and people wonder why we moan about the TV licence fee in the UK when they produce such utter garbage.

It had some really cool ideas (most notably the Martian technology), but the story was so horribly executed I could barely stand it.

Worst adaption ever. I bet the Artilleryman doesn't get to do his speech in this final part because it would make people realise that H G was taking the piss out of Tories (over 100 years ago!)

About 10 minutes of plot and 50 minutes of staring. Loved the martians but completely lost its momentum.

This is a very poor adaptation. It’s the invented future scenarios that spoil it along with the dreadful divorce/love plot. Created to give the adaptation writers and director a platform for their utterly boring personal agendas! Sad thing is I’m not surprised, typical BBC these days. Get rid of all that and there’d be plenty of time for an epic battle at Wheybridge and Shepperton, for me the most exciting part of the book, which is completely missing here. The BBC and it’s representatives need to understand their job is to ENTERTAIN us, not force their ideologies down our throats! I was not entertained, in fact this sucked the life out of me more than any ill-conceived martian creature could...
