Odesa International Film Festival Promo Video 2018

9th Odesa International Film Festival (13-21 of July) presents promo video. The idea and script for the video was developed and brought to life by Ukrainian director Igor Stekolenko

Since the creation of the first-ever film, the most important thing for any of them is the audience. Last year, the viewer became the central figure in the official art concept of OIFF. This year, OIFF and Igor Stekolenko decided to go deeper into the topic, making perception the main character of the promo video – in particular, the human perception of images on the screen that create special, unique emotions and experiences for every person.

“The world of film is extremely multifaceted, and perception of cinema is a personal matter. The concept of the video lies in the very principle of the viewer experiencing emotions, understanding images, interpreting content. Through the prism of their own experiences, everyone treats what they see in their own way, so watching films is a personal, almost intimate thing for everybody”, commented director Igor Stekolenko.

Ідею та сценарій іміджевого відеоролику розробив і втілив у життя український режисер Ігор Стеколенко

Від моменту створення першої кінострічки найголовнішим для будь-якого фільму є глядач. Минулого року саме глядач став центральною фігурою офіційного іміджа ОМКФ. Цьогоріч команда ОМКФ та Ігор Стеколенко вирішили поглибити тему, зробивши головним героєм ролику сприйняття. Зокрема, сприйняття людиною образів, які вона бачить на екрані та які породжують особливі, унікальні для кожного, емоції та переживання.

“Cвіт кіно надзвичайно багатогранний, сприйняття кіно є особистою справою. У концепції ролику - ілюстрація самого принципу відчуття глядачем емоцій, розуміння ним образів, трактування змісту. Через призму власних переживань кожен трактує побачене на свій лад, тож для кожного кіно - це особиста та майже інтимна історія”, - коментує режисер Ігор Стеколенко.
