What I like about the man's house that was spared is that he actually cried for his neighbors and didn't brag about his house being saved.

I love that guy with his big heart crying for his neighbors lost. Survivor's guilt is real. A lot of his neighbors will probably hate on him while he's crying for them. 😢

My friend’s house got burned down due to a neighbor’s fireworks. The way she called me literally praising God that she and her family were able to escape had be in joyful tears! It’s all about perspective. They lost EVERYTHING, but her hope was in Jesus and she saw the bigger picture- she and her family were spared! 🙌🏽

Yes, Nick. I literally felt the guy who said "God doesn't care about us!" heart harden against God. When he looked at the reporter to reinforce that feeling, I felt compassion for him and immediately began to pray for his heart to turn back to God. God is not a God of 'things!' His desire is to have a true relationship with us, His creation. We messed up, but His love for us makes Him chase us relentlessly. Jesus is truly our hope. HE is the air we breathe. HE is the reason we are alive. Things come and go, but God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And His love never ends and never fails! Hallelujah!

I can't even imagine what these people are feeling right now. But to say God doesn't care about you, while you still have the breath of life in your lungs is kind of heartbreaking.
