An enrolled agent is the lowest credential of anything tax related. Jasmine became an enrolled agent when she was a teenager still in high school, but people on YouTube talk about it like it's a PhD.

I was scheduled for open heart surgery this morning by a surgeon from California, I have a special condition for which they were sending a specialist but I canceled the whole thing and am now trying to see if I can get Karlton to do it since he is an enrolled agent. I've been subscribed to his channel for over a year now, and most of you don't seem to realize that an Enrolled Agent is basically a wizard on meth with a specialty in everything.

I'm a CPA that specializes in taxation and I've easily spotted dozens of errors and just plain bad tax advice in your videos. It ultimately comes down to the person and not the designation. I know non credentialed professionals that are more knowledgable than some CPAs and EAs that I know. I think the EA designation is great, but to say it's superior to CPA is nonsense. A high school graduate can become an enrolled agent in 3-4 months start to finish. CPA requires 150 college credits (majority in accounting and business), a year of experience working under a CPA, four exams that are significantly more difficult than EA (one which covers the majority of the EA exam), and higher annual continuing education requirements.

I know one thing for sure. Neither the CPA or EA exam is teaching people to incorrectly use the Augusta Rule, using Sec. 179 to deduct their G-Wagon, and setting up a family foundation trust.

Bro, this guy is definitely insecure with posting shit like this. He keeps on downplaying CPAs. He’s not qualified to know the book to tax differences in a business return or how it gets treated for provision purposes and projections. This is horrible marketing in him down playing CPAs. CPAs are also tax strategists as well. In fact they know way more than an EA. Every business has Accounting involved and without an accounting background his knowledge on solely taxes is very limited. He’s soo insecure not being a CPA himself that he just continuously downplay them.
