The coronation is nearly complete. The establishment has spoken. Kamala has the money and moxie to run against Donald Trump. The DNC is drunk on its own hubris and unaware of its incompetence. This time around progressives won't be the punching bag when they lose again.

Sigh. I love this podcast, but I didn't love this episode. I have been depressed over a possible slide into "Forever Trump" given Joe Biden's lack luster debate performance. When Joe stepped aside and endorsed Kamala, I saw new found hope for the future. I have watched for 5 days other people show hope and elation that maybe, just maybe we won't have a King Trump for the rest of my life. I am going to do every thing I can to help get Kamala elected.

I hope UNFTR can get back to the "educational" type podcast you are known for. I have really loved listening to the hows, the whys, and the who is responsible for all the shit. The angry Max, not so much.

Max, In seriousness, and with love and affection I dont think I've ever been so fkin mad with anything you've said before this moment. I dont have so bad a memory to remember when YOU YOURSELF were giving begrudging credit to the Biden Administration fighting for and passing with the SLIMMEST of margins, some of the most progressive legisation we've ever seen. I remember you being surprised at this octogenarian, lifelong centrist pushing through policies that were meaningful to a progressive vision. You are talkin so much SHIT here when we KNOW for a fact that NOTHING was passing that locked up congress with Manchin and Sinema in there, not to mention a judiciary that has been further and further stacked against us, making some of the unilateral progressive action by executive order risky if not outright impossible due to court challenges. Lina Fkin Khan is voiding non compete clauses and is taking on monopoly power as hard as she can. You seem so fkin confident in a Trump win when we've seen the largest democratic mobilization since Obama behind Harris. This thing is FAR from over now. And regarding Harris, there has always been rhetorical daylight between her and Biden on Israel. The Michigan protest voters are talking about giving her the benefit of the doubt.

But right now, it's Kamala or the abyss. All this other shit you're talking about is absolutely vital-- but later. We can deal with all that other shit as the constituency once we've secured Democracy. Everything is on the line in November.

Okay I'm new to this channel but I want to ask about the main problems of the cost of living affecting regular workers. Isn't inflation a worldwide post-pandemic problem and not just unique to this Administration. Bidenomics is pumping up business and the stock market I guess that's a good thing. Maybe over time this goes with the supply chain stabilizing. The cost of living in the housing market are still a catastrophic mess yet I hear the same complaints from Canada and the UK.
Maybe America really is doing very well relative to the rest of the developed countries.
Yes I do wonder if in America as well as worldwide some businesses are too tempted by predatory opportunities after the supply chain was damaged by the pandemic and they keep manipulating supply and demand for their own profits
