Canyoneering Hogwarts Canyon in North Wash, Utah

Hogwarts Canyon is a fun, beautiful, and fairly short canyon in North Wash, Utah. It is a great beginner canyon and a wonderful introduction to canyoneering in North Wash. It was no surprise that Danny, our North Wash canyoneering guide chose Hogwarts Canyon as one of the first canyons of our trip. The view under the arch on Rappel 2 is definitely worth the trip!

Just ran this on 10/04/23. The last anchor is back on the sloped boulder but its solid. Someone bolted anchors but they got chopped.

Thanks for sharing. Good to know the last rappel changed. My spouse didn’t like rappelling off a rock sitting on a slope.

Wow looks fun. Do you have to attend a canyon repel class or something to learn or just have someone demonstrate?
