‘So emotional’: Donald Trump receives standing ovation at RNC

Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen says people were “so emotional” when Donald Trump arrived at the Republican National Convention.

Donald Trump has received a standing ovation after he made an appearance at the Republican National Convention following a recent assassination attempt on his life.

Mr Trump appeared with a bandage around his ear where he was injured by a flying bullet after a shooter at his rally over the weekend fired multiple shots in his direction.
