That period around 1997-98 was the beginning of my unfortunate lifetime of being a Juventus fan. I look at our midfield options like Deschamps, Conte, Zidane and Davids and with satisfaction I think: this is as best a midfield as you can get. Then I look at Real Madrid and they are playing with Seedorf-Redondo, two players who ooze class, elegance and quality, who can defend, attack, pass, create, everything... How the hell do you cope with that? The CL seasons of 1997-98 and 1999-00 made me understand that there's something about Real Madrid which means they are able to overcome anything when their players set their minds to it. Even in bad periods they always have quality players in their squad.

Tristisimo, bueno, Brasil también tuvo su generación dorada, Francia tenia un equipazo con Vieira y Zidane y Holanda con Overmars, Bergkamp, Cocu, etc... Aun asi para mí Argentina siempre merecio más en los mundiales que disputo en el 94 y 98
