I had the opportunity of meeting him twice in concert once in '04 and again in '09 in Gainesville FL. The second time he gave me the mic and let me spit the last 4 bars of Pimp C's verse on suicide doors! That Sh💩 was legendary lol Banner is definitely in my top 5 of people that inspired me to make beats.

Yes, Organized Noize used musicians but the south has ALWAYS understood HIP HOP! The best part of Southern Hip Hop is the same thing that makes Northern Hip Hop good and that is the regions! New Orleans is vastly different from Houston, which is different from Memphis! P.E.A.C.E. to the Crooked Letterz!
