If you got an old cooler you can infact add coolant if it’s cavitating just voids any warranty and got to know how much fluid is in it unless your modding in a reservoir so you have room for fluid heat expansion

I'm about to turn my NZXT Kraken elite 360 into a custom loop and add 480 to the 360

So basically it has a longer life span than Air cooler and Dedicated Liquid Cooler?
If so, do they still have leaking problem?

Water Cooling is more efficient and can make the PC more powerful but there is a catch one wrong move and you just wasted over 1000 dollars
Fan Cooling While it’s not as powerful or as efficient as water cooling it’s easier to maintain and is at less risks of failing and costing you all your money

So you don’t have to change the water?

Is there any aio product where the liquid can be replaced

I got my current PC 10 years ago. It came with an AIO. About 5 years ago I started getting these PC freezing game crashes. These would occur in FPS during sections with intense action. I suspected something was overheating. I went in BIOS and turned off my CPU's "turbo" modes. This work around worked. But I wonder if my AIO isn't working correctly? I've never seen any evidence that anything leaked. But could the fluid have eventually evaporated? If there isn't a way to fix the AIO, then I suppose I could replace it? Or what do you suggest?

Yep. No maintainance. Just wait for em to die😂 but on a serious note, just keep it clean

Yeah guys do replace the liquid but it's unnecessary guys do it cuz they're just PC nerds and they can do it. But it's not necessary. It's basically like an air cooler. You just wait till it breaks. It's usually the pump or the fans and it normally don't never drip

Yes you do need to change the liquid, after a few years, you might need to. But it varies. I changed mine after 3-4 years and it had lost 30-40% of its liquid, it was barely cycling. The second time I did it, it had lost waaay less, after the same amount of time. So your mileage may vary. Corsair H100i GTX
