NodeJS Essentials 38: Flash Messages

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to add custom flash messages to a PassportJS login setup.

In the previous tutorial, we setup a protected route with Passport JS and configured a new login page to accept a username and password.

The standard Passport authentication in Node js doesn't look particularly helpful so we'll first of all redirect users to the same login page and display a flash message to let the user know what went wrong. Channel Handle @codebubb

Can flash be used also when sign up instead of log in?
