That was exactly 23 years ago. I wanted to learn to play the cello, but my family didn't like the idea. No matter what I did, I couldn't convince them about it.I was so young . but I couldn't stop my love for the cello in me. I finally found the solution by buying a cello secretly from my family and keeping it at a friend's house. I was practicing with my cello every day in the cello course that I started secretly and on my own. Then, when my parents went on vacation, I brought my cello that I had kept in our neighbor's house and worked at home for 15 days. At the end of the 15th day, an earthquake occurred at 3 am. I was not at home that night, I was at your grandma. The day after the earthquake, I went home and pulled my shattered cello out from under the rubble, crying. It was completely unusable, in pieces. I stripped off its wires and augers, took it with me, and left the wreckage. Only the strings and spigots remained intact, and I still keep them as a souvenir. Afterwards, I couldn't convince my family to play the cello again. My family wanted me to go to university and become a social science teacher, not a cellist. I didn't do what they wanted because my dream was not respected. If they want me to go to university, then I graduated from civil engineering by choosing science, mathematics and technical sciences rather than social sciences. I now have my own business. Even if the love for the cello in me did not go out, it waited in a ember covered with ashes for years. Then one day, a relative of mine living in Austria shared your shorts video on Instagram. I watched it and then I searched for you on youtube and found you. I watched your videos by zooming in on your fingers. You have rekindled my love for the cello, which was ash inside me. I bought a new cello and started again. Thank you a thousand times for this. I follow you with great enthusiasm and very closely. I take a very detailed look at how he plays the cello in all his videos. I listen to the videos of your fingers, arm and wrist angles, the positions on the touch and the sounds coming out of that position, the vibratos you make, one by one, and I take notes in my notebook. So I don't just listen to his music and pass by, I stop and look at the smallest details and take notes. I don't know if there is anyone else who takes great care like me, but I love it. I love doing it. I can't thank you enough for rekindling my love for the cello. 🙏 💙

When I was a child they told me my hands were too small to play the cello so I played the piano. To hear Jodock is pure heaven. It’s like he becomes part of the instrument. The joy, the movement, the incredible unearthly sounds that he pulls out of that cello. I love this man for the gift that he shares.

This definitely is my favorite and always will be. Could it be the running water? Jodok dancing on
rocks? I love it all.

My father was a great violinist. He wanted me to learn but very strict and as an 8vyears old kid I truly did not want to spend half hour with him as I'd rather sing. In my old age I wished I gave my dad a chance. I truly love listening to classical piano, cello and violin. Mr. Hauser, your music is one of my inspirations every day.

I have been playing cello for 2 years, and a lot has happened in these years. I started in my local city string summer camp hosted by their Orchestra, and took it 3 times; one was for Beginners, and two were Advanced level. Then I started teaching myself how to play some good pieces, including Prelude No. 1, and The Swan. When I stumble across one of your videos, I embrace it gladly. Your music reminds me of the cello again and again. Eventually, I joined a youth orchestra located not far from our town and kept going and got into concerts as well. Thank you for the support you've given me over the years.
