Brief Overview
Tangerine has a uplifting and citrus smell that goes great in diffusers or even green smoothies! Some of the common uses include:

- Add 2 to 3 drops as a flavoring in cake and cookie recipes for a nice citrus twist

- Add 1 to 2 drops in alkaline water, green smoothies, teas, or lemonade for flavoring (make sure to use glass or stainless steel containers)

- To energize and uplift your mood, place 1 to 2 drops in the palms of your hands, rub together, and cup over your nose and mouth and breathe in for 30 seconds

- Apply this oil to your reflex points or to your abdomen to promote feelings of happiness. It's a best practice to dilute with doTERRA's fractionated coconut oil when applying topically as well.

Note: Make sure to use natural sun protection at least 30 minutes before going outside and reapply it after sweating, showering, or swimming since citrus oils can cause photosensitivity.
