I have a theory, I'm gonna call it batch theory.
Based on all the packs that I've seen throughout futties by many content creators, my own infinite pack grind and posts by fellow rats, I strongly believe EA assigns a batch of players that a person is able to get in packs and the pack weight is determined accordingly.
This would explain why we keep getting the same cards, even the good ones, over and over. I've seen multiple people get dupes of these insane players. Because when you do eventually get a good pull, that luck is used on the same few cards that were assigned to you with comparatively low pack weight.
And with this EA are essentially limiting the cards you are able to pack.
As to why they would do this, the only reason I can think of other than just red listed accounts, would be because there are too many cards in packs and their servers aren't able to compute the packs.

I liked the 90+ pp, did only 4 of these on my pc account and got Zidane in the 2nd one. During the 84+ x10 grind on my xbox account I packed Rivaldo after recycling higher rated fodder constantly into these. Also I think you have a better chance getting something good not doing so many at once, just a theory.

Its all time based. If its not the right time, it doesnt matter how many picks you open. Certain cards are only available at certain times of the day. The times they appear at changes on different days but repeats after a few days. I have the times worked out for a few of the big cards. For example i packed beckhams 99 a couple times. His card was available in a specific time window at a couple of specific times yesterday but i checked those times today and he wasnt there. But it will repeat at that time window in a couple days. I cant be the only one who has worked this stuff out?

The 90+ picks were so crazy for me, got Vidic gotg twice, unfortunately that 99 sawa dupe, Zico, Charlton and Hagi from less than 30. So for me they were so so so clear of those new picks. Obviously it’s a lot to do with luck so I’m pleased ea blessed me
