That’s a powerful synergy! It sucks to lose the graveyard but I don’t think the deck is complaining with that much card draw

Interestingly enough this combo doesn't work with Necropotence since it says "Put" cards into your hand.

EDIT: I just watched the original video this is taken from, this wasn't all in the same turn. She had 4 untapped lands to pay for the ward when she cast the March.

Maybe they couldn't fit in the short, but how did she pay the Ward 4 to target Kappa Cannoneer? I don't think exiling more cards for the March can pay for Ward, because it's a triggered ability, not an additional cost you pay as you cast the spell that targets it.

This is one of those 'Why did you not have removal in your deck' cards. It ain't subtle, it ain't a surprise, you have time to counter or bounce or exile or whatever it well before its effect sounds off.

We knew Sheoldred worked great with Necropotence but never saw it work in a four of format. Now modern has its own Necropotence and with Sheoldred it’s just… wonderful.

For the longest time I watched blue (various formats) be the king of draw, counter most of ours spells, and simply be the best color. Many in the community (that played blue) were absolutely fine with this play pattern. While this combination is extremely powerful, I believe their needs to be cards that punish card draw considering how prevalent draw is in the power-creep.
