I remember 2007– I was 24 and just out of the Army and I would watchPeter Schiff own people on TV. At the time I did not know anything about finance, but tuned in just to watch this guy battle 4-5 people at once. His economics is spot on. He’s been predictig another crash for 15 years- he has been right the whole time, however the Gov changes the rules all the time. Had the Gov and Fed not done this, we would have already crashed and been on the road to recovery. Peter is still spot on.

This was a very cringeworthy episode. When you immediately call your guest the wrong name multiple times, you’ve lost all credibility with the guest. I think having Peter on was shooting way above the belt for you.

I would like to point out that Peter wasn't dismissing investing in real estate. It will go up in dollar terms but crash in gold terms in an inflationary environment. As long as the dollar doesn't completely fail real estate can be a hedge because you can't get a 30 year amortization loan on a bar of gold for any rate but you CAN with RE. Do Harry Dent next!
