There’s a way to open champagne called sabering! If you hit the neck of the bottle at the right angle, the top of it comes off. No smashing it on the floor needed. Usually it’s done with a sword, but it can also be done with a wine glass, I imagine with enough persistence you could figure out how to do it with a phone!
