How to enjoy the 'BOOM sound' with your portable music player

I purchased this for novelty value and because I am a fan of monoprice. Just wanted to share initial impressions in first 15 hours of use. Interesting device, pretty ambitious and well thought out design, biggest selling point are 20 hour battery and the quite decent fullness and detail and surprising bass extension and dispersion for the size. It still suffers from "sound coming from a small box" syndrome, most noticeable in upper mids and highs which come out from the top, not from the bottom.
