In an era when our government has allowed CALPERS, the city of Detroit, and GM to not honor fixed income retirement guarantees yet they selectively chose to bail out the truck driver pension and our Fed Reserve and Fed government will prop up the economy by stimulating with artificial 0% bank interest rate plus spend trillion$, this is not the right investment for me, because today the stock market has become less risky then non-federal guaranteed fixed plans and way safer then insurance companies.

Good explanation- one question- how do RILA’s work in terms of inheritance or heir death benefit?

Throwing this out there- there ARE RILA’s that are leveraged on the up and there’s no cap with buffers and NO fees! There are surrender charges in these products.
