Before deciding to get rid of possums, know that they eat ticks. Like, a lot of ticks per day, which is very beneficial for those of us with dogs and other outdoor pets.

Many of those animals were already on the list.

If you're scared of possums then you shouldn't be handling wildlife.

Good to hear they expanded the list. I got fed up where I live back in the spring of 2015 and bought a few conibear traps. Since 2015 I've nuisance trapped 43 woodchucks. As well as about 10-12 possums, 8-10 skunks and 2 raccoons. These are instant kill traps. No mess, it just breaks their neck and they die within a few seconds. Outside of shooting (which I can't do where I am) it's the best solution IMHO. VERY effective. You place them at the woodchuck hole entrance. They get caught whether they are coming out or going in. Make sure to buy the setting tool and safety tool as well and watch a few Youtube videos on how to set them properly so you won't get hurt or injured. I use a #160 model (6” square). Be advised if the area has cat, dog or kid traffic they can also be harmed/killed with these traps. Check your states DEC/DNR to see if it's legal to trap them in your area. Always use a setting tool and safety catch tool when setting them!

In a LOT of places it is illegal to trap and release the animal off your property. Check your state trapping laws!

You can pay a pest control company to come and set traps and remove them but it's not cheap.

the only animal i got any beef with is the skunk. only cause of the stink. but so far, the anti-skunk stuff i spread around the back yard seems to work! sorry lil skunk (it's a juvenile), but you gotta move on!

Leave small things alone.Stop feeding and coursing them to human reliance. It absorbed the situation of dependence. Making me mad.🦢
