Now, a downgrade is pretty much a guarantee from a Ubisoft game at this point, but I'm really excited for this and I hope the Ubisoft's Downgrade Bat doesn't smash ten bells out of it, just a few gentle love taps would be fine.
To their credit, though, hats off for going in a direction that hasn't really been touched in a while. I gather this is coming off the back of the generally good reception The Crew got and an open-world game based on social activities is apparently wanted, but a winter-sports/adrenaline sports game wasn't what I was thinking they'd go for. So, round of applause for them for that, tip of the hat, well done indeed.
Hopefully this stays as good as it looks now, the rumours of just four players and the rest of the mountain population being AI controlled worries me. 4 is OK, more would be better, though I'm probably more likely to go trudging around on my own.
Still, as a snowboarder, this fills my virtual space of "shit I wouldn't do in real life because death" that SSX used too do. Bring on December 2nd!
