The Betsy Price Stem and Steam Center

You can depend upon the Leaven....faithfulness is very important, we strive to do what we say we are going to do, and to do it very well, a challenge that was given to us when we first began by Kaiser Permanente Community Benefits Manager, Cynthia Verrett, and we have never wanted to let her down. So when an opportunity came to honor our dear friend, and founding member of The Leaven, former Betsy Price we wanted to make sure it clearly spoke of the legacy that Betsy has made with the children and families as clearly a renaissance educator and thinker. Nothing could delight us, and the community more than having the Betsy Price STEM/STEAM center- listen to her husband, our wonderful friend and Mayor of the City of Fairfield, Harry Price talk about what this center means to him and the Price family. Thank-you to all those who supported this effort and for the Price family for allowing us to name this in Betsy honors.
