Hey there, the bootleg is taller because the peg from the hip is elongated or does not fit in completely. It's also the reason why its articulation is better in that area.
I personally also ike the bootleg. However you should consider that bootleg factories do not use controll procedures on their produts and their paints might be toxic and even linked to cancer. Keep this in mind before buying them :x

90 bucks and Mafex mislabeled the shoulders and assembled them on the wrong sides. But if it doesn't bother you, don't risk fixing them. 8:17 Your $15 bootleg is based on the 075 Spider-Man. And even though the shoulders were mislabeled on that version, they were put on the correct sides. You can see how much better the shoulders' web pattern lines up with the torso and the arms.

I thought I heard you mention this a few times but I just wanna make sure and know where you got the bootleg from. All I can find mafex figures right now are one Amazon, which the 075 is now 230 something dollars, and the Classic is 117

The one that u bought was mafex 185. N the bootleg that u have is mafex 075. That's y u don't get the peter Parker head.

That mafex is new like 2023 new the old one is mafex 075 and theris the 2022 reralce vistion of 075

You have the bootleg 075 mafex.the 075 was the first release and was more expensive the 185 is just a stripped down version

to be honist majority off my figures is boot leg i am not spending over 100 or 200 for a damn figure same with sh figure arts most are from dimonical fit same with my boot leg play arts kai figurs not one person in my videos or close friends said anything about my boot legs . no shame in buying boot legs also i wish they did a bootleg gen i am not spend almost neat 300 dollars figures nope
