When i was a teenager, this riff just seemed silly to me. I was in a much different headspace with what i was looking for in guitar playing. The older I get and more I listen, this just keeps climbing up the list of my favorite riffs. Its bluesey, driving, yet has a very relaxed almost surf rock vibe to it. It compliments the chorus so well, too, Joey is truly a visionary player
