I've never heard this song before, but it touched my soul and brought me to tears. I'm all alone, no friends, no one in my life. I'm trying to get my life back. I was homeless for over four years. I was finally able to find a subsidized apartment. I have a bed and that's about all. I love Jesus's examples for us. I love the New Testament. I try to be a good Christian, but since I'm so poor and in such bad health, I don't often find any ways to show who I am, who I'm trying to be, to anyone. This song went straight to my heart and I felt love.

I've never written it anywhere before; I've never told anyone. I have never had the courage to. But listening to this song again, for the first time in years... I find myself writing this.

I am 15 years old. I am trying to get over my addiction. This song gives me strength. If anyone out there is struggling with the same thing... it doesn't happen overnight, or maybe not even a month, but it happens in the small choices that you make everyday. Those small choices determine if you get over it or not. Those small choices determine whether you make one small step towards repentance, or if you continue to live your life as you have been.

I heard something once that I really liked: "Repentance is trying to be like Jesus."

I hope that whoever reads this finds inspiration from it. Even writing this has taught me a litte bit. Try to be more like Jesus, in the small everyday choices you make. It may take a while, but they add up.

Lifelong agnostic atheist here. One of my dearest and most coveted friendships is with an LDS I met in graduate school. He has never let our differences in belief, nor my not adhering to a Mormon lifestyle, effect our 20 year friendship. He is one of the most honest, decent, trustworthy, loyal and purely good people I have ever know. I have always been impressed with the LDS people and I would rather live amongst the LDS than any other group of faith. My relationship with my LDS brother has been a great blessing and he serves as a foundational example of what a good person and an excellent friend is.

I just got into a heated dispute with my brother, and I know that I should have chosen better words even though I felt wronged. My soul was not happy and did two strengthen my bond with the spirit. I had prayed and asked for forgiveness, I asked Our Father in heaven to help remove the spirit of contention from my home. I felt guided to listen to something from when we were younger, the messages in children's hymns are so sweet and so simple to understand. This song " I'm trying to be like Jesus" came to mind and this is the one that had the most views so I thought that it would be a great thing for me and honestly it has helped to soften my heart. Thank you for singing this. What a beautiful voice.

I saw this in between the General Conference sessions today and LOVED it. How inspiring it should be to all people in the world, Christian or not! If all lived by this standard, there would be peace in the world. I had to look this up here on YouTube to see it again and cry my eyes out, and I will be playing it tomorrow during family time and hot chocolate!

My counselor at FSY shared this video with our company at the end of the week and it really brought me to tears, it made me realize exactly how much love there was that week. My faith was so weak and small before I went to Fsy, I thought I would just be on my phone minding my business but the spirit was so strong and it made me realize how much happiness the church has brought me.
