Great video!! Easy to understand and I appreciate the fact that you took the time to reiterate how the HPT axis functions more than once at the end of this video. I am beginning to appreciate the concept 'repetition is key.'

Very concise and accurate, yet entertaining! I am certain that the students in my medical nutrition therapy class will enjoy this so much more than listening to me! Thank you! You have earned a new subscriber!

Brilliantly put. So, question! If you're a "subclinical" non-autoimmune/hashimotos hypothyroidism sufferer, is it typically the pituitary gland that's failing to receive the signal, or the thyroid that's a bit sluggish and needing more of a kick to get started?

What does it mean if a person has all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism but bloodwork shows hypothyroidism? Weight loss, hair loss, fast metabolism feeling, blood pressure spikes, insomnia, brain fog at times, feeling hyperactive energy??? Extremely high Tsh with extremely low T3 and T4. Ultrasound of thyroid normal but small with no nodules. All other labs are In normal range! EKG show’s bundle branch block. Doc says thyroid is causing bad EKG readings and triggering blood pressure spikes. The thyroid labs aren’t showing Hoshimotos although it’s been diagnosed in the past. Any input is greatly appreciated ❤
