I'm going through this same thing (but I'm the mother). I love my son more than life itself but still everyday is a heartbreak. All we (parents in similiar situations) do is try to support and help the very ones who disrespect us but its not the child's fault. You can be a good parent and still be treated like 💩 because the other parent is jealous and hateful... Its a sad, sticky, messed up situation. Happened to me. My son mom did not give me graduation tickets for me and my family. She must've forgot he graduated from the same highschool I GRADUATED from, so I went up there and got 5 tickets and showed up with my family. She was PISSED and was nowhere around when we congratulated my son when it was over. Glad my son didn't listen to her lies.
