We went to Don Quijote Shinbashi Store around 3pm on a Monday afternoon, Just to get essentials like toothpaste, hand cream, etc. It was SO crowded already that took us 1.5 hour to finish checkout, the long wait is for the Duty-free window.

!! And the price is slightly higher than other locations.

So, if you still want to check it out, remember only get the essentials and paid the tax, it’s not a lot. (About 10%)
Skip the duty-free line (Unless this is your last day in Japan) SAVE your time and energy for the next day.

If you will stop in Tokyo, get it in Tokyo, they have a lot more locations and less crowd.

or just go to Matsumotokiyoshi 松本清 they’re better IMO 😉
