My personal opinion is that Britney likely DID make that post in a manic state and then regretted it after she calmed down. How many times have we all seen someone say “that wasn’t me, someone else was using my account” or “I unfriended you accidentally”, etc.? Britney deals with mental illness and is very clearly someone who goes through manic episodes and then depressive episodes, sometimes followed by calm and clarity. I’m not judging her for it at all, but I simply just don’t believe “someone” else was “using her phone”.

I genuinely hope Britney can learn how to healthily manage whatever mental or physical illness (or illnesses) she’s struggling with. I think she was taken advantage of for so long that she doesn’t know what’s real and what isn’t, on top of the mh issues. I hope she’s able to build a team of friends and professionals that can help her manage her life. Whether it’s from the lithium she had to take or it’s another issue altogether, she very clearly has something going on with her thought processes.

I think the music video having some references to Britney's work probably confused her into thinking it was about her initially. Once she realized the error it was easier to deny posting it than try to explain the confusion.

While i think she was allowed to sample Britney's song. I dont think she expected Halsey to use the Toxic glitter outfit. And the "Everytime" video montage of the fight. Sadly i think Halsey overstep. There is a huge difference in sampling a song, but wardrobe and video as well is a bit much.

It’s likely that her previous management team(her Dad’s) still had access to her social media. Under Britney, they also posted how they were against ‘Free Britney’ documentary and that it was full of lies.

Her team wasn’t happy with the ‘no or bad money deal’ that Britney personally greenlit Halsey to use in her song. They tried to dispute and sabotage her but Britney bounced back quickly
