Fun facts about Ohtani
-In the little league, he has hit outside of the field and hit the traffic light and broke it
-also in the little leagues, his coach prohibited him to pull as his homers would go straight to the river and loses so many balls. That’s why he became good at hitting to the left field
-His high school coach said he was good enough as a swimmer to make it to the Olympic team
-During the Fighter’s career, he would reward himself after a game by stopping at Seven Eleven to buy a chocolate crepe . He was also on small allowance as his mother managed his money, yet he still managed to save tons of money for his very little spending
-No one has heard him dating anyone, but he got plenty love letters from school mates in high school. He never dated any girls as he was too involved with baseball, yet he and his friends got together and read those letters 😂❤
- His high school coach taught the team to pick up trash as trashes are luck other people threw away. Ohtani still picks up trash to this day
-His coach from the Fighters was asked what impressed him the most about Ohtani. The Interviewer was probably asking about his ability as a pitcher or a hitter, but his answer was, “His personality” He said he had never seen a human being who was as perfect as Ohtani as he is super polite, respectful and humble. The interviewer continued, “oh…come on! There’s got to be something bad or weird about him! Share! “ but the coach said, “Nothing! He is simply perfect.”
-In his high school days, he ate 10 bowls of rice 🍚 each meal to gain more as he was super skinny
-He was known as a “mama’s boy” among his little league moms 😂

Well, there are so much more that were shown in the Japanese variety shows in the past, but these are some that really stuck in my mind. ❤
