I met Jeff when he was in Adelaide at The Exeter Hotel in the city after his concert that I went to with my daughter Jazzy.
'Hey Mum, how would you like to meet Jeff B? don't freak out but hes standing right next to you'
He was a softly spoken freckle faced Angel, we shook hands, ( I still remember how lovely they felt) we chatted and shared my Bourbon and Coke.
I stole the glass that touched his lips. His Lyrics are divine and the voice <3 RIP Jeff B

Imagine having the power to silence an entire room like he does in this performance. Jeff's interpretation of the song has always been my favourite, but the extra final verse on this version always feels extra poignant and heartbreaking given how soon we'd lose him. A true musical marvel gone far too soon ❤
