I bought this because i used to get a flat tire on my bike at least once every two months. When i was a child i loved riding those scooters. I lost my drivers license for 7 months while drunk driving an e-scooter so i will never touch those things. My work way is 10 min. I love it. Be safe everyone and don’t do stupid stuff. I learned from my mistakes.

I got it last year, during 1st lockdown and I still use it now to commute to work ( about 2 miles distance) sometimes 3 times a week. Love it!

Got two of these ten years ago from a massive sports shop in Monaco when my son and i couldn't get a ride back to the hotel, i was riding too fast on a tiny service path through the tunnel, clipped the wall and went straight over the handle bars into the road. We still laugh as moments before I had told my son to be careful.
We parked them with the valet at the Hermitage hotel and used them for the rest of our stay.
Great memories, and we brought them with us on the flight back 😊

They changed the product: There is no strap anymore and you won't see the suspension of the rear weel anymore from above. Check the product page before you order or you might be a little bit disappointed.

I'm 58 and I love mine - I don't currently drive so I use this to go shopping and just fold it up and pop it in the trolley, although I also have a bike chain for it so I can leave it outside.

I would agree. I have a similar scooter but it only has a mudguard brake. It is a little bit scary going downhill. I didn't realise that the brake is not very effective. It was only after I purchased it, went for a ride and then read the instructions which said the foot brake is only good for slowing down. Fortunately there aren't too many hills around here! Its a great little video though....

In your conclusion, you missed one important disadvantage: When the road is wet, the brake of the scooter works really bad.

Is the hand brake better than the rear wheel fender brake? I have an older Town 7 without the hand brake, and it feels unsafe to go downhill (say -9% slope) at normal speed, I need to press the fender brake well in advance to even hope to slow to a stop. Feels like trying to stop a train. Is the handlebar brake more responsive, if I buy this model, will I be more confident going downhill?

dont get fooled, it seems noiseless because of the music, but in real life if the road is completely flat scooters can be very loud. always test it first for yourself if you can or find youtube test vids where you can hear the actual sound of the scooter instead of useless sellout music..

How's the suspensions? Does it feel more comfortable compare to Town9? I have a back problem so my main concern is comfort. Pls advice.
