My wife's hair is more of a problem than pet hair

Can recommend Tineco. We have one of their wet/dry cleaner, the Floor One S3, and we love it. It cleans our wooden floors for the fourth year now (twice a week) and besides the batterie everything still works like on day one. This things picks up a lot of dirt even after our Xiaomi X20+ already vacuumed and mopped. Their customer service is also very good. They still sell parts for our old model on their site.

7:15 - 7:31 could be FALSE advertising if that's COLD MIST water vapor, like ultrasonic humidifiers.
Making HOT STEAM takes several minutes even on my Dreo warm humidifier for it to get to 135 F with an internal heating coil .... (let alone the superheated steam >212 F of a full fledged steam cleaner with a steam tank)

I have tineco prure one and i like the product for the most part but it needs a dedicated hardfloor roller. When I vacuum litter, it tends to pick up most but kick some to the backside of the vacuum whcih requires multiple passes at different directions to get all of it.

Can’t wait to see you do a review of the steamer in your own studio once this releases.

**The Ballad of the Floor-Cleaning King**
Oh, I once had a floor that was dusty and gray,
With crumbs and with hair that just wouldn’t go away.
It laughed when I swept, it sneered when I mopped,
And no matter what, the dirt never stopped.

So I called up a wizard, an inventor so wise,
Who said, “What you need is a gadget that tries!
It sucks, it scrubs, it steams, and it gleams,
A floor cleaner so clever, it works in your dreams!”

First came the Pure One, so sleek and so smart,
It cleaned every corner, it mastered the art.
Pet hair? No problem—it scooped it with glee,
And even the pebbles were no match, you see!

But wait, there was more, for the wizard did bring
The Floor One S9, the steam-cleaning king.
It hissed and it puffed, with wheels that would glide,
And it dried up the mess before you could slide.

“Sticky jam?” it asked. “Not here, not today!”
And poof—it was gone in a steamy ballet.
The floor glowed like diamonds, all shiny and new,
And I danced on the tiles without losing a shoe.

Now my floors are so clean, they sparkle, they sing,
All thanks to the magic these gadgets do bring.
So if your floors mock you, don’t cry, don’t despair,
Just call on the wizard—he’ll bring tools to care.

For every mess, there’s a gadget so keen,
To make your world brighter, and your floors—pristine!

Iv had tinecos in the past, and they come with bunch of useful and some gimmicky features, but compared to Dyson, the raw power is just garbage haha

Does it clean edges? That's one of the problems they have now. I didn't see this addressed.

We conclude low tech is superior. A basic Swiffer sweeper base, and use basic Swiffer wet cloths. We use two or three when doing our entire first floor (all wood, includes kitchen, living room, entryway). You can get up everything, reach every corner, get under furniture and appliances. Swiffer wet is very, very effective with minimal effort.

Best of all: wet hand mop is *very* cheap, and cleanup is as simple as disposing of a dirty cloth and slotting in a new one. No cleaning rotating brushes (sucks). No emptying and refilling water tanks. For the price of just one of these vacs, we calculated we could use a Swiffer mop and wet cloths every single month for the next 35 years or so.

Why aren’t these things corded so I can mop/clean my whole house?

I really did not need to see this! Guess I’m gonna be getting another new floor cleaner soon. Just got one that I’ve only used once and had the previous one for no more than a year.😮

There is no cordless steam cleaners so this is probably just water vapor, not >100 degrees Celsius. Misleading claim.

The basic problem I see with vacuum cleaner designs is the quest for extreme suction. You are talking about tiny particles of dust and small fibers - and they should do something to disturb it - maybe a small puff of air and then a gentle suction to get into its chamber -- after which it has to be mechanically "digested" (for lack of a better word). The crazy whirring and all the stuff they do now is greatly off putting.
