You are so right it is not about fear it is about being healthier. I am 54 and after several big health problems my doctor gave me the best advice ever. She said eat the way your grandmother use to and as much as possible stop eating can food and it really made a difference. Glad I found your channel ❤😊

I'm so glad youtube sent me to you today. I too am starting to backyard homestead and also had to go gluten free very recently. Can't stand gf bread personally, but found by using gluten free pancake mix from Walmart and a handheld crepe maker thingy from Temu, I can enjoy wraps and sandwiches again! Thank you so much for sharing! I have big homesteading dreams but I know that it’s going to take time; but seeing what we can do in a smaller space is really inspiring. I always feel a little offended when I watch people that have 5 acres and they call it a “small” homestead but I have to remember that size depends on the availability you have. But I’m so excited to see y’all’s homestead continue to thrive!

I love that you are showing us FROM THE START. You have a wonderful yard with LOTS of great things going on. You and your family are so smart to start your journey now despite not having the exact amount of land you one day desire. Very inspiring. I know you are not going to be at your place super long but I do encourage you to check out the no till methods of gardening. You will LOVE not only the amount of water you save and the FANTASTIC quality of soil that it produces over time but also the lack of WEEDS you will have to deal with. I recommend going to Paul Gaustchi Back to Eden gardening video. This will help to jump start you. You sound alot like me. Once you get an idea you jump in feet first. Also for some homesteading skills, Homesteading Family channel is amazing as well as Melissa K Norris, Huw Richards, MI Gardener, James Prigioni, and well...I could go on. Just found your channel because I was searching for backyard gardening/homesteading. We moved to a new state in April so we downsized from 5 acres to a 1/4 of and acre. So just looking for new ideas for smaller space. Great video, thanks for sharing.

I'm so jealous. We have a quarter acre and can't have any livestock. We are trying to move but it's been hard to find a house for 7 people on land that isn't super expensive. We just looked at a place that's on an acre and I was happy and making plans of what I could maybe do with it. I just looked up the city ordinance and found out I can't. On that acre I can only have 1 beehive and 8 chickens that's it.I want to plant fruit trees and bushes. I wanted 30 chickens with roosters to raise for eggs and meat. I wanted turkey, and goats for milk and soap, and pigs and 2 or 3 beehives. I just want to cry. I feel like we just can't get out from under government restrictions. We have to have over 5 acres to not have limitations. I thought we could supplement some income with this but not if I can't get most of it.

I also do the back yard farm I have 1 acre on that 40 chickens 19 ducks 5 goats and 36 rabbits it's been the best decision I have ever made next spring putting in a garden and pen for the peacocks which we have 3 of them enjoyed your video just always follow your dreams God bless you all

I bought an abandoned farm with 30 acres (15 of wood and 15 of pasture) end of September 2021, we moved there in January 2022 ... so I am as new in my homestead as you and wow! How much we learned in various domains (garden, animals). I am so impressed by your setup on a 1/4 acre ! Having goat there is totally surprising me! The city and neighbour do not complain about that? i will follow your journey! This video just showed on my YOuTube feed so, this is the fist video I am watching from your channel.
