Why do people say they waiting for a new cable? I just bought a 4080 and the vga light was on so i upgraded my psu to 1000w and i wonder Why. The new cable??

Hi sorry if this is late but may I ask which gpu supporting bracket you are using? Is it okay if the support is touching the heat fin on the back side of the card to support it? Thanks!

Question i just plugged in my gpu 4080 the fan cam on and everything did as well but the geforce light isnt on is that just a setting where you can turn it on or off?
