Obama urges NATO to increase defence spending

US President Barack Obama has used a key speech in Brussels to hit back at Russian President Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine.

Obama said NATO needed to boost its presence in eastern European countries, urging the alliance to make good on its commitment to collective security in Europe.

His speech would be very good, if it just didn't come from him or any other US official.... International law, is very important, just wish the US could follow them just like Russia has been diligent in doing.

Germany became peaceful and thought the same of the others, they never thought of invastion in Europe.
All the independent former Eastblock countries are free to choose which economical and millitary alliance they want to join, don't need permission from Russia.
