The tracks don't glow when investigated but luckily they are placed very frequently and I had no other tracks to confuse them with. I guess you could just head straight to the area by the lookout point to save time.

I'm not sure why you have to risk death to go investigate the goat: it's clearly dead and blood splatters indicate that it fell. Maybe you are looking for evidence that it was pushed?
