LOL I thought he was going to give her a free copy of his book and then he says "Do you have CashApp?" 😂

I’m trying to understand this. I always assumed that the BTC you buy on like Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal wasn’t REAL BTC…like just a representative value. Cash probably owns the real BTC 1:1, and they’ll let you have it if you want to transfer out for a fee, but I’m not sure I really understand the benefit of lightning in this instance. Sending one representative value to another person on the same app seems like there’s no need for lightning. I’d love to have this explained to me :)

Awesome, Nik! Your book should be required reading starting in middle school. The great thing about it though is it is just as relevant for college age. I love the way you break things down to make it all very accessible to those of us just learning what money actually is and could be again if we stay the course.

Nik-Since you are a CASH app expert, please advise how I can reduce my fees to send BTC to cold wallet. Recently had over $240 fee just to send $2000. Tech support was worthless with trying to advise me. Thanks in adavnce! New subscriber.

Just use BCH. All on chain unlike lightening. No fees. High fees when converting BTC to lightening. Not your keys, not your cheese.
